Wish I could make it fella but my car is fooked so I am transpotless for the next 2 weeks!!!!! Im gutted, that virtually rules out my dwindeling chances of a coddie this year!!!!! Oh well never mind, i might get lucky. Glad you like your rod, I would be interested to compare it to my K2. Do you have some interchangable screw in weights in the butt of the rod??

Yeah the counter weight feels wicked you can unscrew them n change them about, its completely black fugi rings m reel seat, the butts got a funny tapered sort of handle thing going on were the weights sit inside, bllosy massive rod compared to me other, I've just had a disagreement with a pal of mine he says the softer tip is a multiplier tip but that's rubbish because the first ring is set too far out surely but he's adamant it is, plus the fact or says fixed spool on the bloody rod too lol I would pick ya up mate but I'm spending the last ofe wages on bait hoping the fumes in me car will get me there and back...

No worries mate, yeah it sounds like an exact copy of my rod!!! Tell your mate he`s a dork lol the softer tip is for light weight work, upto 4oz. If it were a mulit rod it would need more rings & closer together and the writing on the blank would be on the same side as the reel mounting . On a F/S rod the writing is on the rear side of the rod because it sits in the rest with the reel facing down, whilst a multi has its reels upwards in the rest so the writing matches the visable side

Have fun with it, hopefully you can christen it with a nice fish
