Re: Imax clotheing

Welcome to the forum Brian .....

Ive had Imax white squall sallopettes and jackets for 6 years, used pretty much daily for 4 years when i was running a charter boat ,they are great , bought an Imax premium flotation suit last year ,that too is brilliant .I dont think you`ll be disapointed with the new thermal stuff ...

I think it certainly pays to look after clothing ,having said that i' ve abused the sallopttes well over the years, and its only now that one of the leg zips has started to part ,normal wear and tear really.

Re: Imax clotheing

got one of the orange and grey imax waterproof smocks....forgotten what model its called....never wash it, has been abused severly and still waterproof.

floatation suit is fine too.

its like any clothing, the machine just needs to be off and they have a run of clothing that the seems leak like a sieve...i have no doubts that some people have had a nightmare with imax clothing...just the same as people will have a problem with Greys, titan, sundridge...etc etc

good luck and fingers crossed

just remember if you buy it local its easier to return or get sorted out if there is a problem....remember though...you get what you pay for too!!

Re: Imax clotheing

Hi Brian, welcome to the forum. Think i got the same smock lazy hooker has and it's proper waterproof as i found out today again!!! and spray from the swell.
At just over £20 in the sale at Glasgow angling centre it was well worth it.
