parking at coalhouse is good as the carparking area is very large,the walk to the shore will take 10 to 15 minutes but its an easy walk along a tarmac pathway,when you get to the end of the path with the water tower in front of you take the path to the right and walk about 300 yards to the beach called bottle beach you will see why its called this when you get there. best baits this time of the year would be lug squid and fishbaits,its an advantage if you can cast a long way as the beach is very shallow along that stretch,the fish do come in closer as the tide gets a bit deeper. the bigger tides will produce cod if you walk a little more towards the old wooden jetty at surriges near the cowpatch. |
