Question north or south coast dilema for weekend

well at last the tide isnt too shabby for a dangle on weekend, plus mrs p is back so goingto get out somewhere

has anyone heard of any thornies on north coast / channel at all still???

or anything decent off chesil lately ( even bream as not had one this year)

just fancy a different venue and maybe the effort will pay off, its either that or good old branscombe or charmouth again

any info is more than welcome
pm if fancy

dave

Re: north or south coast dilema for weekend

Hi Pingu,

Went to Chesil at the weekend fished the Adelaide on Saturday afternoon into darkness. Had lots of small bream, pout and doggies after dark. No codling this time but a few starting to show all along the beach.

Chap next to me had a 1.5lb red mullet and I've heard of a few triggers and smoothies are still being caught.

Wind has picked up today down here so not sure if its fishable at the mo.

Cheers
Roger
