Question Best new rod and reel for £100

Hi all, I am looking to buy a new rod and reel to go fishing in Ireland with in May, nothing to expensive about £100. I would prefer a fixed spool as I always manage to make a birds nest of a multiplier. I want a beachcaster as I mainly fish from beches and occasionaly piers, but I have a shorter rod for that. Thanks for your replies.
