| Re: fishing in cornwall Hi Bruno Might be worth making the short journey from Hayle over to Penzance harbour with your grandchildren. Easy place for them to put a float out, best on an evening high tide usually plenty small pollack and a few mackie on sandeel or squid strip. Worm baits will pick up small wrasse around the harbour walls. Can get a bit busy in summer on the lighthouse pier, the Albert pier nearest the bus station is usually a bit quieter. I had a small corkwing 1 flounder and an eel all on ragworm there last week. Hope this helps. Steve |
