Advice on Spinning Equipment

Following on from my Mackerel and Bass post I am looking to buy a spinning/plugging rod (mainly for Bass). Again I have the rod size problem and will need to have a 3+ piece rod. After having a quick look around I have come up with the following

Daiwa Super Shinobi Spinning rod available in the following
10',11' or 12' casting 10-40g and
10' or 11' casting 15-60g

New Mike Ladle 3 peice from veals, not sure about the details as its not on their website. I think is 15- 40 or 50g

Shimano Beastmaster STC spin 8'/9' 15-40g

Abu Premium Spinning Rod 11'3 up 56g

All are around £60-70 apart from the Daiwas which are on special offer at 2 for £75.

After looking at the weights of various spinners/plugs
I have excluded rods that cast under 10g and ones that have a minimum of 20 or more, as I feel these would be to limiting. Any thoughts/advice.

Reels.

The choice here is wider but I am currently considering the
1) Penn Prion 7400RD or 9500FD, both currently on special offer at £30, I am abit concerned by the lower line capacity of the 7400RD at 200x12 (I know I am never going to cast that far but I am concerned about the increased drag from the bottom of the spool on casting)
2) Okuma Amazionium AM50 @ £30
3) Okuma Amanonium Baitfeeder 50. @ £40.

I assume the baitfeeder function is simply a switch for drag on/off is that correct.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I do not want to waist my money.

Thanks Steve.
