| bass at kimmeridge help hi bought myself a bass rod and plugs . set off for kimmeridge bay ,no fish 1 bite , what did i do wrong . i went early checked out the rocks etc at low tide and found a nice deep channel on the right hand side of the bay .waited for high tide ,it was pretty rough and windy so it was a struggle to cast very far , i used 3 sizes of lures all were floater diver ones .i cast out a reeled back with a few wiggles here and there . i cast into the channel and beyond the mouth of it . am i reeling in correct and should i use heavier lures to get through the wind and longer lures.any tips would be great . even without fish what a great day climbing and fishing froms rocks and dodging the incoming tide cheers ![]() ![]() |

| Re: bass at kimmeridge help Its possible that the fish were elsewhere? I plan on some trips for the bass and some fossiling soon. In the past I have blanked when I been certain I was n the right place, then caught when I thought I had made a bad choice of spot.
