| Snap swivels Hey guys. I was thinking about using a snap swivel at the end of the main line to attach the rig, this way I could bait a new complete rig and just swop over after retreivel. Thus gainging more time in the water. Any opinions on this? kinda worried about the strength issue? Sparky ![]() |

| Re: Snap swivels Well I must admit I use Oval split rings now . Althought I still use Snap swivels for light work I find Oval split rings are very strong and are easier to clip unclip when my hands are wet or cold . You might want to click on - Oval Split rings were we have a thread on them __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports Last edited by Fishing Forum Admin; 03-07-2005 at 04:41 PM. |

| Re: Snap swivels I use the gemini link clip on the end of the shock leader (after advise from forum) then have the swivel on the top of the made rig, works fine and have had no loses, the gemini clips also feed through all eyes so no need to remove use a snap swivel only on spinning rod to connect lures/spinners __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |

| Re: Snap swivels Here's a few links that can be used for quick changes. The one I normally use is the first one on the top, I find it to be the fastest and easiest but each to there own. |
