bridlington pier fishing

hi everyone, i have just started sea fishing again after 10 years or so, i live in bridlington and i go fishing on the beach and also the pier, a few weeks ago me and a mate went there and caught 50+ fish in one nite, could anyone on here please give me some other places that are for fishing on the east coast cheers

hi i have just started fishing and am going on the south pier tonight. have you found out when is a good time to go and what bait? im trying squid on a size 2 hook

Hi

Squids ok but fresh lug would be better. If your fishing South Pier get as near to the building near the fish dock as possible. Use size 1 hooks on a two hook flapper rig and fish close in 30-50yds. There is a gully runs along, below the wall this is where the fish look for food. Don't fish too close as there are snags very close in.

its fishing well for whiting and dab right now. My dad even pulled a dogfish out last sunday.
