hamble point

checked out hamble point today

would make a great bass fishing point, but there is a large sign saying 'no fishing' (spoil sports)
it's right at the end of the mouth of the hamble in what seems like quite deep water, might have to fish it one evening when the security guard has gone home

the problem is the tide runs through there very fast, i have tried fishing at low water there into the deep boat channel and i couldnt hold the bottom at all, and it was a small tide, it was abit like when we went to hayling island with rob

rod will already be set up for a quick dash round the corner (but don't tell anyone)

if you use a telescopic rod then you can hide it in your anorak when the guard comes along !!!

Boy, was that a tide. I used an 8oz at one point and it still went boing, boing, boing

yeah, it wasnt happening, spinning there might be good though, or float fishing (running along the beach after it)
