| Hi All and sundery on this fine forum. As title suggests I'm new to this forum but not new to seafishing, in fact I been fishing on and off since I was 14. I used to live in Gosport but my life has taken me further and further away from the coast. Now I plan holidays so i can get a day or two fishing in Anyway moving on. I am due to visit a new area for me DAWLISH WARREN next week 11th April2011 heard it is ok fishing down that way. Was wandering if any of you lovely people could give me a heads up as to some marks to fish. I will have a 5 year old in toe and generally use a beach or pier rod. Any replies would be grateful. No it maybe a bit short notice but only booked the holiday 30mins ago :). cheers all Simm0 |

| Re: New Member fishing Near Dawlish Hello mate, Gotta be honest, I haven't really fished the Warren much, despite it being so close, just the wrong side of the river. I understand it can fish okay for the Bass though, a few grouncy to target and the schoolies are starting to show now, so well worth a go. There's Langston rock a bit further up as well which might be worth a go. Lug or peeler is the bait. Let us know how you get on. ![]() __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels.
