pebble weights

Hi guys, was in my tackle shop the other day and remember seeing weights like pebbles with a small swivel attachment. Got home had a thought and immediately started playing with the idea of using that type of weight on a slightly shingle type beach. Anyone ever used these type if so, where and what for. I imagine they are for fresh water fishing, but would great if the fish r ever feeling slightly spooked.

They are used for freshwater fishing, I believe they're called stonze. They're meant for rivers and stillwaters, but I'd imagine they'd work from the shore.

Wouldn't be any good in a strong tide though, as they aren't grippers are they?

No, there is no grippers but they do various sizes....

I would also watch out if power casting, dont know if freshwater swivles attached to them would hold.

Will do, was going to use a light one for close range bass fishing.
