try and match your bait to the time of year and species likely to be caught .. this time of year the fishing is almost non existent so use small size 2 and less hooks with cubes of mackerel or half a rag and as sugested tip with squid .. Its always worth remembering when fishing a structure that there are plenty of fish right at your feet and in and around the legs so dont always rush to whack a bait to the horizon - especially after dark Most of all remember that as spring arrives the fishing will improve vastly so get in the trips, learn loads and look forward to a bumper year ![]() Steve __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting |
