hello mate,reports have been of whiting whiting and more whiting with the odd codling amongst them and i have heard of dabs at folkestone ,
and not forgetting the doggies

Fished kingsdown/deal last week, 4 hours up to high tide 1 hour down, 7 dabs and about 30 whiting, the whiting were tiny and became a nuisance.

thanks for the help guys do you have any advice on baits was taken lug an squid but not sure on anything else so any adive would be great cheers

All the dabs apart from 1, was taken on whole baby squid, about 2 inches long fished at 20-30 yards on size 2 aberdeens, whiting were 90% on lug fished at between 75-110 yards. were taken on 3/0 pennel rigs baited with 4-5 lug and sometimes tipped with squid, greedy little mites, couldnt get through them for anything bigger. hope this helps

yeah that has been of help cheers dave iv made up a few pennel rigs and some two hook flappers today so im just hopeing the weather clears up a bit now been looking forward to getting out its been a while now
