frozen baits

Hi, has anyone ever caught any fish from the shore using frozen sandeels or that gulp bait?

Re: frozen baits

gulp baits are another dumb american gimmick but blast frozen eels are a top bait for anything from big rays to bass and a cod of 2 lb odd caught off chesil a few hours ago !
Make sure they are kept frozen at all times and look for eels that are a steely grey colour not crappy brown as it means they havnt been kept properly .

Re: frozen baits

I have a question.

Are there anything I could get from tesco's or any other shop as bait, rather than going to angling shop for bait (except the worm).
