Hi everyone, guess you know what I am going to ask?
living in Berkshire there are not a lot of beaches!! southampton is probably the closest. I have heard that Lepe beach may be good? How do I get there, is there a road name or something for the 'sat nav'. What about Clarence pier area as we were walking along the front at Southsea where the hovercraft lands and saw some guys fishing.
as usual any help appreciated

hi there and welcome to the forum mate i live in portsmouth and fish 2 -3 times a week there are a few places in portsmouth to fish but not all that this time of year the best place to go at the mo is pagham or eastoke beach on hayling iwill be fishing hayling more than likely with a feww off the forum this week you are more than welcome to meet up with us tight lines

Thanks for that, any chance of a landmark to aim for as I cant find Eaststoke Beach on Google and where abouts in Pagham???

Your best bet would be South Parade Pier from 1st May onwards.
