where to catch cod at hayling

Can anyone tell me where the best chance to catch one is ??

Does anyone sell fresh lug near hayling

Tried eaststoke sat. night , only s'hound , dogfish, pouting and whiting.

Thanks to 'Wingers' ( Craig ) for advice , if you see this let me know when you're going again and maybe we can meet up. ( Had to go early on Saturday 'cos my little boy was getting hyperthermia !! )

Any help / advice would be much appreciated !

Thanks

Jeff

Re: where to catch cod at hayling

Thanks a lot for replies ,

Went to Eastoke last saturday night , lots of whiting but still no cod.
it got pretty quiet near high tide , there were lots of people out fishing - anyone heard of any decent catches ??

Will try the chip shop this weekend.
