| Tip for fishing with dexter wedge Hi all, Can anyone give a novice some tips for fishing with a dexter wedge. I bought a pack of four (3oz - 6oz) from Newtown angling shop in Praa Sands, Cornwall when I was down there a few weeks and had several trips out on Perranuthanoe beach without success. Should you treat it like a spinner and gentle reel in or draw back like feathers? Caught a few scad on Chesil before just reeling in but that's not really much to shout about now is it. Am thinking of using the wedges nr Woolacombe this weekend. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |

| Re: Tip for fishing with dexter wedge Thanks Pingu, Did just that @ Woolacombe and Baracane this weekend for many an hour without luck. This fustrating thing was (as a fellow angler pointed out) you could actually see the bass in very shallow water water as it washed back out!! Not sure if I was missing a trick or are bass a very canny fish to hook? |
