I am thinking to go to Southampton on Saturday. According to BBC HT is around 11.35 and 23.47.

It gives me option for HT to HT fishing in the day or LT to LT fishing in the evening till morning. I would not like to drive back home in the morning around 2.00 or 3.00 AM.

But I am not sure about what to do.

What would you do?

If I stay till morning and I have nap in the carpark, would it be OK? Would I get parking fine?

Who else would be interested on day time or evening fishing?

I usually get worm. Should I get something else too? Where from should I get some bait?

So many questions to answer.

bait first - ragworm and MAYBE a mackerel if you fancy..ive used fish baits and nothing is interested other than the seagulls.
Main species around at the mo are pouting and lots of small whiting with the odd smoothound pup and silver eel..
Take a rod and set it up fished right over the side with any of the pout you catch.simply hook through top of mouth and out on top of nose
This is what the Bass have been coming on and best fishing is from high water down to low .DO NOT leave this bass rod unattended as there is the chance of a whopper and a good fish will pull your rod right over the railings !

You have no problems at all with parking or kipping on the T.Q but remember the fishing is only on one side ..
Sadly im working Saturday but one of the other regs might be down mate..

Dont bother fishing there in the daytime turkish its pants ill meet you there and fish with you on the saturday night if you like

I might do a session from 17.00 to 02.00 then. I gotta make sure I sleep till afternoon on Sat then I can drive back.

Do you wanna bring the bait or should I get it from somewhere else? (for example where?) :)

Enough to keep me busy for 5 hours (usually that is around 3-4 £ and which lasts 8-10 hours for me.)

Also any other bait which you could be bothered to teach how o use.
