One is a size 30 and the other is a size 40. They are the same reel just one holds more line than the other. As for the best for you......it depends what you want from a reel!

Probably don't need to spend a lot just to jig with a seven foot rod. The best idea is to ask someone at you local tackle shop as you'll want to match the reel to the rod as best you can. Frankly £20 or a little less will get you a good enough reel on ebay to get started with. Light tackle can be great fun I landed a 5lb pollack last autumn with a seven foot rod and a small fladden reel and it was great, it took a while to get it out of the water as I was fishing from a rock shelf about six feet above the water, but it just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune.
Try the drop shot technique, there are videos on youtube about it, its good fun.
