| Bad Day! Didn't get any advice on where to fish in Plymouth so went down to Mountbatten Pier for a couple of hours on the incoming tide. No fish but got caught in a major downpour. There were 4 or 5 others fishing with a mixture of float and bottom fishing. They had no joy either. Does a heavy downpour of rain affect the fishing? Advice please!!!!!! |

| Re: Bad Day! Never known a little rain put fish off feeding. Seafish that live in river estuarys may be put off by large influxes of fresh or silty water though. Large amounts of suspended silt during flood conditions can also put freshwater fish off the feed. __________________ "The fish and I were both stunned and disbelieving to find ourselves connected by a line."
