Talking Packed and ready Hurst Castle

Packed and ready for Hurst Castle

Tied 4 rigs ready ( thats a record for me )

Keeping to my new years rez - only taking small bag and thats it ( no more trolly to carry my kit ) Still felt a bit to heavy so took out some of the 30 leads I had in there and will leave them in the car

Im giving a new rod a go tomm.. thought I would give it some practice over the fields as still not very good with a multi reel . First cast nice and gentle ; not bad me thinks and then I realized the ground is so soft that my lead was about 6 inches in the mud . So that was the end of that

What sandwiches to do tonight ? well its got to be cheese ( leaving room for one of pings pies )

Going to have a little pray at the end of my bed tonight for some good fishing

Re: Packed and ready Hurst Castle

Sorry guys, but I'm not going to be able to make it tomorrow .After fishing Dungeness today and having 3 nights out on my own this week, the missus has decided that I'm starting to take the p***. Fair enough I suppose. So for the sake of matrimonial bliss, I'm staying home. Hope you all have a good 'un

Rob

Re: Packed and ready Hurst Castle

Looking forward to it!
Won't be there as early as you guys but will get there before noon.

Shame you can't make it Rob but will do my best for us.

Richard, why is it so difficult difficult to remember bait? I reckon I leave it behind at least every 3rd trip (which explains why I'm so into spinning and flyfishing!).

Good luck all, Jules.

Go for it Jules!, a nice Doggie would be cool. Once the pictures are in for Dungie, we should be at 6 pts

Re: Packed and ready Hurst Castle

Just checked the freezer and no bait. Bloody wife chucked it out. Oh well, lures again, tried some mags to see if any bait shops open in the area but no joy.
Guess I'll have to try bacon and sausage again, never seems to really work tho. If you see me walking up to you talking ingraciatingly (is that a real word?) lock your bait up!

see you guys for a chat whatever!!!! Jules
