| Re: Going down to torquay harbour fishing any tips or reports Chap you do realise that once your lady has that licence in her hand you will need a pass-out with full written rules of engagement before you go fishing Either way I would have thought you will be too busy to go fishing . The tackle shops around Torquay are happy to give out local info and it is usually more accurate, the more money you spend. Congratulations on the up-coming nuptials and good luck with the fishing . __________________ Ddaz. If it was all about dragging fish up a beach it would be catching not fishing |

| Re: Going down to torquay harbour fishing any tips or reports Have a look through the threads Jim...there are a fair few on just that subject Failing that , if you intend fishing the harbout then just turn up and see what everyone else is doing/catching...the fishing can change rapidly but the locals will tell you everything ... | Re: Going down to torquay harbour fishing any tips or reports Don't really get out too much down that way Jim, but there are others on the forum who might be worth a PM or two. BTW, "as much fishing as possible on your honeymoon"????? Are you sure???? There's another thread "You know you go fishing too much when....." that could do with your input mate! ![]() __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. | Re: Going down to torquay harbour fishing any tips or reports Let me know the hotel and room number and I will pop in and keep your missus company. Torquay has quite a few good spots to fish besides the main Princess pier, if you have a car that is. Check out Babbacombe pier, meadfoot beach, Hopes nose (long walk down and hard climb back up but probably the best spot around) Also brixham breakwater and Berry head (another long walk). Best of luck with both your endevours. Foggy __________________ Luv Foggy It wasnt me! |
