yeah it is im going through a stage of pier fishing trying out a few differnt ones in the area

its a nice little pier that offers you safe fishing and parking very close as well,
all the fishing is done on the western side ( the side facing whitstable ) , it is shallow with very few snags and very little tide,
there is a large line of rocks at the end of the pier that go out a couple of hundred yards seaward,a bait quite close to these rocks is usually best for the bass that frequent this pier,

i would suggest the admiralty pier at dover mate,but beware,it is alive with tinsel flingers,
you may be better off on one of the beaches down south like selsey,some of the sussex lads would be able to help you there mate

yeah iv learnt all about them lately fished folkestone weekend just gone realy good fishing but there was a lot maci fishing or do must admit there bbq did smell good
