| Floatation Suits Appologies if this question has been asked but what are peoples preferences on floatation suits and who does the best deals on them?? I have seen a nice range from Imax which look the buisness. Is it best to wait until summer when the prices fall as they become out of season??? What are you're views?? Cheers Big Rob |

| Re: Floatation Suits Flotation suits tend to hold their price no matter what time of year you buy. Over the last few months we've seen reductions in prices but this was caused by a sudden flood of new suits which started a mini price war. My advice is go for a two piece because being able to just use the top on slightly chilly nights really helps a lot. Quite a few members have bought the new models so I'm sure you'll get comments soon. __________________ Simon "4 Rods" TorbayFishing.Com - Beginners guide to sea fishing, news, reviews & more! |

| Re: Floatation Suits (oops) Sorry guys, just found the search function and found all the previous posts on this topic. What can I say, I'm a muppet. Just for info, The mighty Trago Mills has started selling suits at quite reasonable prices, around the £50-£60 mark, as usual the sizes are a bit haywire and you'd need a week to rummage through them, but woth it to save £40 quid i reakon. (p.s. due to big fire only the liskeard store has them!!) Should be taking a trip there next week and will re-post if there's any worth looking at. cheers Big Rob |

| Re: Floatation Suits I have an Ugly Stik two piece one that I paid £90 for and it's worth its weight in gold. It keeps me warm when there is ice on the beach. Now I just need some boots. When the sea is rough and there is a chance that I will have to wade to bring in a fish I wear my waders underneath so the water doesn't come over my boots. | Re: Floatation Suits I have the iMax which got it's first proper try out last week on a damp cold night and I stayed warm and dry. Don't know what the floatation properties are like yet though and hopefully never will. |

Pete (blackthorn) got an imax for xmas. As far as Im concerned they are the best, for comfort (softer material, and fully lined) and for better than average bouancy. If one is looking for pure warmth then the imax 'white squall' range is also there at the top as well as the Titan range. The later two have no bouancy but are tops for warmth and stormproof.
