Re: Floatation Suits

Thanks all, must admit I have my eye on the Imax suit, I think Clives are doing it for around £80 - £100 quid, if nothing else at least I'll look the part!!

they do say that fishing is 80% confidence after all. Must be an improvement if I'm not shivvering my nuts off.

Feeling the cold will be a thing of the past mate. Dont forget to have a good pair of boots and good quality thermal socks as well.

Re: Floatation Suits

I own a Penn flotation suit and I love it. Went fishing last night with a mate. He was wearing 2 tee-shirts shirt, two jumpers, a big coat and he was shivering. I had a thin jumper and floation suit and I didn't feel a thing. Totally snug.

Best thing I ever bought.

Re: Floatation Suits

Hi mate as a charter skipper my recoomendation would be a 2 piece. I see hundreds of them across my deck every year. the best i have seen recently is the imax. they really are making some good clothing. they are a part of ron thompson who also produce clothing labelled as Eiger - Top stuff!! Hope this helps

Re: Floatation Suits

I have the Imax two piece and wouldn't think of getting rid of it, it is great! Keeps me dry and warms in any conditions the weather in this country chooses to throw at me.

Re: Floatation Suits

I have had several flotation suits over the years and for what its worth I have found the imax 2 piece to be the best for both shore and boat fishing. Like Bagstar I would recommend it without reservation, all in all a good product at a fair and reasonable price.
