Hi Taffupnorth the aberdeen coast line is the best there is for cod fishing the best bait is crab & mussel in winter and freash crab in summer i fish right along this coast from spurn point near hull right up to aberdeen arbroath is fantastic fishing what you need to do is pop into your local tackle shop and ask what and where the fish are been caught he needs your custom more than you need his bait he should put you right have a chat with other fishermen when out for a drive if you need more info pm me tightlines Alain
