Re: multipliers

7ht mate any one off them, they were £160 years ago get them now for £70-80 a steal at that price. drop in price only due to new models coming out. We tip, the 1st one origanal 7ht was and still is the best but if you want the new one @£170 wait a few years and its under £100. My advice is buy black origanal 7ht bullet proof mate i have been useing them for 15 years owesome reel. Tight lines. Paul.

Re: multipliers

whatever reel you decide to buy make sure its got some form of breaking system......either centrifugal or magnetic......

abu, diawa, and penn offer great reels

and dont laugh but for a general bit of fishing at a cheap price shakespeare do a couple !!

Re: multipliers

I would drop the leval wind mate as it cuts down on distance ,,
A few sessions with a multi with out one and you will soon get the hang of thumbing the line on

Re: multipliers

okuma magnetex 20 without levelwind aint too bad, got my nipper one few months ago just for lobbing and using as a close in reel as he liked the look ( bling bling) and its performed well for the money

quick retrieve , magnetic brakes, decent clutch ....nice big handle so not to bad for not much money
