Smile report on slapton

we( the 7[ talis, kiwi, welly, paul, kev, my buddy dave and myself) gathered in a chilly and windy car park at allotted time and decided to give this fishing thing a bash,
assulted the beach just to right of car park & set up base camps buddies and brollies, and out went about 10 rod, paul was first to score (twice ) 1 pollock and 1 whiting, simon then turned up, then I got 2 pollock, then as dusk feel the whiting really turned on,
blackthorn turned up and joined in action,
wind did not drop all eve, making casting interesting,
all there caught well on whiting (just done 10 fillets for freezer and 6 for tommorrow)( thanks to paul for alowing me to fillet some of his fish)
packed up arround 7 then swift 1/2 (thanks si) and home, think si may add here?
another great forum meet , awaiting photos to be oked then will try to post

A great meet and peeps will be pleased to know that although a little shaken Simon is OK. I will leave it like that for now and post more tomorrow.

Re: report on slapton

A big thank you from me for the help I had after I crashed my car last night. Without the help from Kiwi and Talis I would have been in real trouble. I bought so much gear with me yesterday I had to put all my stuff in Talis's car and Kiwi had to drive me home because Talis had no more room.

I tell you what though when I heard Talis start skidding further up the road I thought oh god not again
