I agree, cheap tackle usually lets you down at some point and thats a false economy.

However I do think that mid priced tackle is usually of good enough quality without having to shell out top money. In the case of the Jetstream its having the right tool for the job and I couldnt find anything else that fitted the bill. Maybe Penn know this is an untapped market and have cornered it.

Like Old Smoothhound a few extra hours in the workplace accounts for the rod. And lets face it the jetstream should last a lifetime.
