Penn Jetstream 4 piece?

Has anyone here used or got experience of a Penn Jetsream? I am looking for a good quality travel rod and this seems to fit the bill. Even though its a 4 piece a few people have claimed its better than many top end 2 piece rods.

I know its a bit pricey at around £175 but it looks like it could be a rod for a lifetime? Any users here? Anything else reccommended by the group?

cheers.

Cool Re: Penn Jetstream 4 piece?

Great minds think alike mate... have been looking and researching it. Its a damn good rod for a 4 piece its brilliant at casting 6 ozs but have been told don't try 8ozs cos there's not enough grunt in the but.

I went to Ireland this year and was very lucky in getting my rods on but on Aer Arrann no chance max length 72 inches, but with a Jetstream.... no probs.

Will be having one for Christmas

Its as good as if not better than some full length rods on the market.... very well built and a quality rod hence the asking price.
