Re: Best Boots for warm feet

Having read the responses it looks like the consensus seems to point towards the Hot Feet boots with neoprene socks.
I think thats what I will go for then.
Delboy, if a normal shoe size is 9, does the boot size need to be increased to accomodate the neoprene socks?

Re: Best Boots for warm feet

Hi lads,

I use Derry Boots with removable thermal linings. Have had them for over ten years now and have used them in freezing conditions without my feet getting cold. They were about £35 but worth every penny!!!

Where do you buy neoprene socks from?

Cheers

Re: Best Boots for warm feet

I'm from the same school of thought as Pingu ... I wear hiking boots too. Usually a size too big so I can get a pair of skiing socks in there. Don't normally get cold feet, it's my hands that suffer.

Of course, boots like this are no use if you need to venture in the water, or if you want to dig bait! Then it's waders at 40 paces, I'm afraid, with extra socks again.

Might consider those "hot boots" though, seem like good value.

Cheers,
JB.

I use Skeetex boots (spelt wrong?) pronouned Ski-tech. Wierd things, u you can use them on either foot! Always looks like you dont know you left from right! Incredibly warm and comfy, like big moon boots really. Brought them bout 5 years ago for about £40 I think. The liners are also removable for washing, never had cold feet in them.
