Not a lot of help i know but it is/was fishing ok last week.
About 100 yards past the groin to the left, Just over the footbridge.
2.5LB Bass, pollock and rays being caught, not by me but by a mate and i saw the photos.
Whole squid and and saneel about 60 to 80 yards out.
No good to me cant cast that far lol.

yea count me in ive got 8 weeks to talk caster/farmer kev into driving all that way

i would say looking at the map its got to produce codling?... as i know fort victoria does on the isle of wight and its only a stones throw across the solent
