Iv got a myo-3 ben, nice lamps rnt they.

Im getting a samalite for x-mas though, as im fed up of buying batteries all the time.

I would never use a lantern personally.

its very good, not that i have really tested it but i still think its brilient, good blinding potential
it says water proff on it but the guy in the shop wasnt so sure about it, how water proff would you say it is??

that myos definiately waterproof, good lamp dont use too much on halogen as drains power fast, led is usually enough(even too bright often)

I have to say i only use the LED on it, the halogen isnt very strong.

I wont be using it soon anyway,

As for being water proof i havnt had any probs with it so far in the rain, so seems ok.

have just bought me a 5 million candlewatt torch from homebase for £20.Lasts 20 mins continous,can be charged by mains or car.Says use intermittantly because it gets really hot!Thought it might be handy for illuminating my casts.If I dont like it I can get me money back before 28 days.Going down to Selsey east beach friday,tides in about 4.30pm see what happens!(If ure there and it gets up yer nose give us shout Ha.)
