I am planning a session at Paddy's Gap over the next couple of weeks, and wondered if any one can tell me what the state of the fishing is, especially how bad the weed problem is.

Hi Beachie,

Paddy's Gap, is by Milford on Sea a little further than Hurst shingle beach.

Hope you have some information

right i know where you mean i fish milford alot, i had heard of it but could not picture it but now you come to mention it yeah i know. unfortunatley not to sure on the weed situation although i have heard that it has been bad along the shingle bank.

The trip has now been poostponed to probably 8th ,9th or 10th so let's hope the weed has died down a bit by then. especially as I shall be introducing a complete novice.

Cheers Clive,

Our trip has been arranged for next Wednesday the 9th.

Because we are introducing a "sea fishing virgin", we will be fishing during the day with high tide around lunch time.

We have also decided to fish the western end of Milford-on-Sea beach opposite the Needles Eye Cafe.

I will let you know how we get on and the state of the weed.
