| chesil beach Can anyone please help, i'm heading accross next sat and was thinking of aiming for abbotsbury. Am i heading for a good area for fishing and is there anywhere here paticular for hotspots? many thanks.     |

| Re: chesil beach Hi there Yes Abbotsbury is very good in fact all along there is good anything can turn up there but be prepared for a walk as the summer attracts the mackie bashers, Dragons teeth is a good mark to fish take plenty of fish bait with you. Dont need to cast miles out as it is deep water right in front of you, very steep shelfing beach and strong currents anyway best of luck i use to fish langton herring which is only accesable by boat, abbotsbury and west bexington and ferrybridge a few times would like to do an other session down there soon. best of luck let me know how you get on. | Re: chesil beach Last time I was on Chesil, I could'nt get out to the mackies, but did get loaads of scads, as the sun was going down, by letting the lead trip accross the bottom, with a low retrieve. |
