Beach Fishing - Reiff Scotland

Hi all

Has anyone been fishing this far up the west coast of Scotland, Reiff?

If so any ideas on what I might catch, baits and rigs used to catch them.

I have been coarse fishing for all my life now looking to start sea fishing.

Any help or tips would be appreciated.

I was fishing up this way in July at the cliffs just after the last three houses at Reiff. Followed all the instructions given to me by the local experts, bait tackle etc and got nothing. Ended up following my son's idea's of "dad just use a salmon spinner" and caught a 3.5lbs Pollock.

Just go with the flow and use what you like.
