Cool advice needed

I am going down to seaton devon for a break at the end of june and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on any decent marks or boats to take out as I havn't fished there before. mark w

Hi Mark.

No need to go anywhere. Seaton's a cracking beach. Get some crab, sling it out as far as you can and wait for all hell to break loose when a Smut picks it up and starts running. Pretty much anywhere on the beach will do. You can get Bass at the rivermouth or Conger at Seaton hole. There's mullet up the river. A guy called Leigh (He's on this forum) had a double figure Huss from Seaton a while back and we've had some small Smutts in the last couple of weeks. (I'm hoping they'll get bigger as the summer goes on.)

As for boats, there are some out of Beer, Lyme and Exmouth who I've heard good things about. Don't really know that much to be honest as I don't do boats.

Do a search on the forum. There should be plenty of info. All we ask in return is that you come back and let us know how you got on!!!

ih lads im going to turkey for to weeks as of monday staying in bodrum hoping to fishing has any one been if so any tips on charter trips it would be life saver cheers dudes
