brixham breakwater

hi everyone,i am new to this forum and not quite up to speed as to my way around it, please bear with me.i am off to brixham next week and as a complete novice at sea angling i would like some advice on which tackle to buy and rigs baits etc for fishing from brixham breakwater.many thanks.robinj

Re: brixham breakwater

the breakwater is a really easy place to fish

floatfishing sandeel or makkie strips for the mackeral,garfish,or worm for wrasse and pollock is easy

bottom fishing will give you dogs,flatfish possibly and the above as well

you can fish either into the harbour or the outside,
towards the end gets crowded and can be a tackle graveyard

worm and sandeel will sort you out ok

let us know how you get on as havne been there for a while myself
