| Have been several times, with varying levels of success, have now recorded a few pouting on 3 trips, with other anglers taking cod, dog and flounder. Reports that bass are a mile down the beach are frustrating, as I now want my first bass or two. Am going late tomorrow afternoon and night for a long session, hopefully there will be more action than of late, where there have been, for no apparant reason, dead times of no bites, or nibbles. One last question, is the moon a factor in successfull nights fishing? __________________ Ignorance is bliss - I'm soooo happy!! |

| Re: Lowestoft South Pier moon can help, it depends if the moon is full, half or none it can effect the sea bed and how big the tides are. when the sea beds rough you most likely to catch the better fish |
