Cockles & Mussels....

Hi,

I'm new to this fishing lark and keen to go hunting for shellfish on the beach.

Does anyone know anyone/anywhere that teaches you how to 'fish' for shellfish - I'd love to collect cockles, mussels, crabs, lobsters winkles, whelks and so on? Also any seaweeds (samphire and so on) would be a good addition.

I can travel, so scotland, cornwall, wherever, not a problem! I'd just very much like to have a bash at this.
