| Shore fishing Folkestone Hello all, New to this forum. I have been shore fishing along the beach at Princes Parade, Hythe (the road that runs along the sea from the petrol station to the hotel). I notice that at the moment there is a lot of activity going on with sea defences there. There are lots of heavy machines moving the shingle. I don't know where else to go in the folkestone area. Ideally somewhere where there are no swimmers and dogs!! Anyone suggest some good other spots? Thanks in advance for any suggestions |

| Re: Shore fishing Folkestone Hello Mate ive fished the same bit as you a long while ago but more recently ive been further along past the hotel there is a pile of rocks they call twisted groyne, anywhere along there you can make your base and fish as long as you want. The shingle is very steep and the tide just goes up and down and doesnt disturb your camp. Even at low water it is till deep water. I have had a lot of luck there so give it a try and tight lines. ![]() |
