Pool Harbour

Does anybody know what the fishing is like at Pool Harbour? I've been invited along by a couple of mates for a trip next week, they seem to know little about the place so I thought I should enquire as to species/tactics.

Mind you, if this cold snap doesnt pxxx off shortly I'll be staying at home!

I would guess you will be after flatties.
Bling, bling & more bling with light rods, but check with your mates first.... Just in case they are taking a boat mid channel wrecking

Thanks mate, we will be fishing from the harbour itself not out on a boat. Looks like I'll be taking the carp rods with me as well as my Six + baits to cover all eventualities.
I'd planned on having a go for the flounder this winter so it'll be a bonus to fish another notable flattie area, was gonna have a go this week at Exmouth, but as far as the cold goes its a case of "the older I get the braver I was". Dont mind the cold but this is fookin unreal!
