Budleigh salterton HELP!!!

Hi i have been to budleigh salterton beach fishing twice

the first time i went was with my dad and we caught loads of mackeral and garfish on floating close to the beach but the second time we went it was nothing

i want to know where to catch different fish like bass ect and to find out how to catch them Thx

hi
budliegh is a very hit and miss beach
in the summer fish early on riseing/high tide and you will get makkie and gars, fishing late eve the same tide and iff you find a space arround the tourists will be the same

for the bass try the otter mouth or right past stemer steps

there are talks and mutterings about mythical creatures such as smoothound and plaice there as well but i have never found

the pout and dogs will always oblige after dark
