Hi all Do any of the local Torbay fisherman know where I can dig a supply of worm bait in Torbay, both rag and lug. I know many might not want to give away the location but a point in the right direction would really help.Dont mind hard work just want to be able to dig my own worm from time to time. Any help in this respect would be great....hope you can help.

Re: Bait supply in Torbay i think the best place to dig lug is on the teign thats where the tackle shop bait suppliers dig the lug. i would be careful about tides and mudflats and such up there though maybe just go for a drive on a low spring tide and see if you can see any others digging bait __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think!

Hi, I have been worm digging many times at Flow point on the Teign, although haven;t been there for a couple of years (since 199?). The old guy who owned one of th ehouses on the point (and the old houseboat that was beached near there) used to let us park on his drive if you asked him for permission BEFORE just parking there.) To get there, you need to follow Kingsteignton to Teignmouth road, and keep an eye out for "Metro Motors" on your left before you get to BishopsTeignton. Once you pass Metro Motors, you come into a 30Mph zone before you reach the "jack's Patch" garden centre. Just before the centre, there is a sharp left hand bend (coming from Kingsteignton, right if coming from Teignmouth.) The road to flow point comes off this bend and is VERY easy to miss! Best time is a weekend at low tide. I am not sur eif the old gentleman still lives ther and it may be wise to check before driving down the lane as it is quite (extremely) narrow and has few passing places! Hope that helped!
