Budleigh this weekend

Hi All
off to Devon for the weekend, does anyone know how Budleigh or Exmouth are fishing at the moment? (or anywhere else in the locality)

Gotta say Budleigh isn't fishing all that well to be honest. Have heard of a couple of Bass, but few and far between. I haven't really fished local for a while now, it's been that bad!

Hi Guys
after reading your replies we checked at the tackle shop in Exmouth and ended up at Sidmouth. At first we tried floating with some sandeel but no luck.
The girls then tried spinning with Dexters (keeping it simple to reduce time tangling and increase time fishing!) and I started chucking out the tinsel, both methods worked and we ended up with a bag of mackarel which they helped gut and fed everyone that night.
We also managed a first in catching a Garfish which we put back as I wasn't sure how the the kids would react with green bones and also to encourage them to return what they aren't going to eat. Having seen the teeth on the garfish I'm glad they don't get too big.
All in all we had a good time and the girls are keen to go again. Thanks for the advice guys.
