| North East Coast as winter is coming up u guys from south england and maybe closer should come try the north east coast for cod fishing in winter, there is some real good places to fish producing double figure cod, skinningrove is my main place to fish in winter seen huge cod from there 25 ilbs +, but there is a huge choice of venues and different fishing spots here in north east england. if u do come i suggest a mixed ground beachcaster and a abu 7000 or penn 525 type of reel with 40ilb main line for this area, rod i use a zziplex xtr or maybe a greys apollo u need a good rod and reel for some spots. but there is also some good spots were u need a 7ht or 6500 rocket for long distance beach fishing with maybe 18ilb line with a shocker. nice to be here by the way ![]() |

| Re: North East Coast So many good waves and few crowds.. Bit of a mission to get to some and has a reputation for being sharky but when you see the waves and the scenery around it you wont care. All year round geneally something. June-Agust is winter months with abit more swell, around December is hurricane season which provides often sic surf so.. So much coastline and so many spots yet to be discovered. ------------------------- |
