| Re: bass in southend? I used to do quite well fishing small black gills on the Bamburgers jetty at Wallasea Island. Ebb tide, in the up river point of it, first light. If you lay down on the end, and look under, you will see a concrete beam running across the structure. This is where they sit out of the force of the tide. If you stare, you will see them flashing as they pop out to grab fry (mostly garfish fry) The jetty is privately owned, with fishing prohibited, so you would want to pop on, pop off, well before the working day begins. __________________ WWW.DVICE.CO.UK Where Fishing Gets Easier |
