Makerel

Hi lads, confession to make! i had forgotten all about this site until i just got a happy birthday!!! have been spending time on the (other) fly forum.
Anyway that aside could some of you help me out with some info at BRACKLESHAM BAY where we have recently bought a van. We used to do all our fishing round at Pagham and i am still tempted to stay there for the Mullet. However, my old man loves his feathering for makkies and i was wondering if they get up to Bracklesham in any numbers and when? At Pagham you can find them 3hrs either side and will make numerous passes along the beach, we were hoping for something similar. Look forward to hearing something
all the best
Big D

Re: Makerel

Have caught Horsemackerel (Scad) and mackerel at Bracklesham in reasonable numbers in August last year. Only fished it a couple of times but they were there over high water on the evenings we fished, dont know if we were lucky or if they are regularly there though.
